Jason Latour's redundant Tumblr.
6 years ago today, Mike Wieringo passed. Being a kid from North Carolina, I didn’t know of many pros from the area, and so working in comics sometimes felt like a far off dream. Mike lived right up the road in Durham and you can only imagine how much it meant to find out one of my favorites was nearly in my back yard. I was  lucky enough to get to know Mike a little over the years and I can honestly say that without his openness, advice & encouragement I don’t know if I’d still be in comics. Thanks for everything, Mike and RIP.
